The Case for Site-First Design

Every Meridian project begins the same way: not with a floor plan, but with a site visit. We walk the land at different times of day, tracking how light moves across it, where the wind comes from, and what views are worth protecting.

Only once we understand the site on its own terms do we begin to sketch. The result is a home that feels less like an object placed on the land, and more like something the land was always waiting for.
